Budapest, Hungary

Budapest was a quieter chapter, but perhaps one of the most visually formative. There was something about the city, its architecture, its winter light, its cafés, bridges, and old facades, that made me want to document everything.

A lot of my time there naturally translated into photography, mostly landscapes and everyday moments that felt cinematic in their own understated way. Budapest taught me to pay closer attention, to observe how atmosphere can tell a story just as much as people can.

It was also in Budapest that I covered Budapest Central European Fashion Week for the first time as an independent writer, an experience that felt particularly meaningful. Through both Fashion Gins and The Citizen's Poste, I covered the shows, emerging designers, and the broader cultural significance of Central Europe's fashion scene.
