Istanbul, Türkiye

Istanbul was the city I chose, or perhaps the one that chose me. It became the backdrop to one of the most transformative periods of my life, both creatively and personally. For a year, I moved through its distinctive rhythm, its contrasts, its chaos, and its beauty, slowly learning to create in ways I had not fully explored before.

Living there pushed me beyond the limits of what I already knew. It led me towards more experimental forms of storytelling, including a series of experiential micro-films I like to think of as visual poems, alongside editorials, photography, and writing that later found a home in different publications and projects.

This chapter of my portfolio reflects a version of me that was constantly observing, documenting, and trying to make sense of a city that feels suspended between worlds. Through fashion, image-making, and storytelling, Istanbul taught me not only how to create more, but how to create differently.
